It would be awful to have these put in a recycling heap. There must be a
5th D or some related organization that could use these in Boston area.
School are not interested because of no software.

Any takers?

Does anyone know how I could give away 10 or more "Beige G3" Mac
computers (running at 266 Mhz)?

My company has a bunch of these, and they will go to the recycler -- as
we just can't find anyone who will take them. Quite sad -- as they are
functional and reasonably effecient computers! All I need is a decent
place to give them to that doesn't have a subversive name in it (this
does have to go by my boss). Please let me know!

“There is no hope of finding the sources of free action in the lofty
realms of the mind or in the depths of the brain. The idealist approach
of the phenomenologists is as hopeless as the positive approach of the
naturalists. To discover the sources of free action it is necessary to
go outside the limits of the organism, not into the intimate sphere of
the mind, but into the objective forms of social life; it is necessary
to seek the sources of human consciousness and freedom in the social
history of humanity. To find the soul it is necessary to lose it".
