" (...) have a feeling that this will {Phillip's proposal]
turn out to be something of a utopian
 project like Esperanto.
It may enable us to avoid some misunderstandings /
disputes, but create others.
Who will police the use of this terminology?
(...) I don't think
there's a terminological resolution to that,
nor is it necessarily a bad thing
- I see it as inevitable, whether one sees
 it as good or bad."

If,

by one hand,
Bruce is right
- specially when
he points that
he sees it "as inevitable",

by the other,
in my understanding,
considering
the features of
an academic
enterprise,
Phill's proposal
seems to me
an invitation
to dialogue,

an attempt to
estabilishment
an adequate
forum
for the
confrontation
of different
- and multiple
voices -
mediated
by
CHAT
