A few weeks ago Mike asked for info on assessment of community literacy
programs. I just got a newly-published book, Community Literacy Programs
and the Politics of Change by Jeffrey T. Grabill. Though I wouldn't say he
deals specifically with assessment, he does treat issues of design and
argues for action research as one component of design. Peter
