what i think might be a cool session would be a 'dinner party' format. we
could set up a table with various chat and dewey sig persons playing the
roles of peirce, dewey, vygotsky, etc. the actual cast of characters could
be set by the theme of the dinner discussion. there would be an empty chair
-- members of the audience would be invited, after the opening, to come up
and sit and ask a question. after some discussion, that person would leave
and another audience member could then come up.

just a crazy thought early in the morning, prior to not enough coffee :-)
