well well.

in 1987 i was working as a capitalist power-bitch in the family
marine-salvage business,
wheeling and dealing around the world,
and pulling in an obscene amount of money, living in a beautiful 5-room
apartment in downtown Montreal,
eating in restaurants every night, la-dee-dah,

- i was a tight-skirted high-heeled broker of the strategic kind,
ba-da-boom-bad-da-bing,
and then
in 1988 was struck with a massive dose of CONSCIENCE and found myself
in such a state of resistance that i was fired by my family
and i went back to the university, studying literature, philosophy,
ethics, and whatnots.

but in 1987, well, i was riding the high waves of economic excess and
capitalist exploitation on a global scale.

so there you go.

CONFUSION: in 1989, i moved into education and came across a book called
"CULTURAL SPYCHOLOGY" which was an edited text of different research
responses and studies representing global interests in cultural and
psychology - clearly this is not Mike's book,

but how did it come about that both books could be called "Cultural
Psychology?"
