dominance over nature

Diane and Michael--

Lets see what others have to say on this topic, which seems to me to be
a part of modernism and the glorification of "decontextualization." Certainly
as michael suggests:

Mike, I wondered whether "dominance over nature" is not a rhetorical
construction. From a dialectical materialist perspective, we are
always and already nature ourselves, even if some of us think
differently.

The thing is that it is not just a rhetorical construction but a world
view and globalized set of practices with pernicious consequences.
