good thinking - while i am finding it hard to disagree with some of
freud's ideas, i can't say i belong to the club, since no theorist can
sufficiently account for everything in one theory -
and in spite of freud's certain certainties, i agree with you, that
amnesia might very well include the loss of sexual identity -

thanks!!! for the books refs - i'll track them down immediately. and don't
worry about "interrupting the "most interesting discussion" on this list,
because (a) multiple discussions often go on, and (b) "most interesting"
is relative, i'd say. ha ha.
