Right on!!

I myself was unaware of the Indian origins of zero but it in no way
surprises me. Joseph Needham's work is tremendous in this sense although
I've never had the opportunity to read the four volumes of Science and
Civilization in Ancient China, I did read the smaller abridged version a
long time ago.

It is a funny twist that science is attacked in the name of fighting western
hegemony. I'll look for the Plott works you mention.
