Thanks for at least recognizing that something that appears to be a
"personal cut" might be a reflection of non-characteristic form of
self-expression. You were kind enough to say "dry humor" although I would
accept "sardonic" as more to the point.

I didn't get Marc's post, also I have missed others mentioned lately as well
as not seeing one I posted two days ago, so I really think that there is a
gremlin loose.

But I must say that the entire appelation "at risk" turns out to be a
euphemism for the bottom rungs of the ethnic/class hierarchy who seem to be
born "at risk" and my sardonicism was directed at the all too common pattern
of moral outrage being expressed only when the offending event happens in
our own backyard. IMNSHO that isn't moral, its just self-interest.

I actually felt upset after having sent the message, realizing how it would
probably be taken. So I must reiterate my gratitude that you gave me the
benefit of the doubt.
