McGraw Hill admitted to reporting test results inaccurately in New York City
resulting in several thousand children being required to take summer school. A
similar situation happened in Indiana- perhaps with the same test. I'm not
sure of that. ETS has also admitted some recent problems. The California
situation was reported in the LATimes within the last week. And of course
there was the problem of misclassifying thousands of California children who
had transitioned out of bilingual programs as bilingual thus making it appear
that there had been a leap in progress of bilingual kids in since the Unz
initiative was passed.

In Texas hispanic parents have filed a suit against the states TAAS tests
claiming it discriminates against Hispanic kids.
