XCMA,

About a month ago I took up Mike's offer to help enrich the MCA webpage.
The "enrichment" has focused on two aspects of the MCA webpage; related
sites and the papersindex.

http://communication.ucsd.edu/MCA/index.html

Related sites: http://communication.ucsd.edu/MCA/Links/Related_sites.html
The "related websites" was changed by organizing the links into various
themes which have been of interest to xcma members in the past (e.g. CHAT,
Education, Diversity and Identity, Semiotics and Linguistics etc.) The
themes were created from the links on the old page and websites that have
regularly been submitted to XCMA. There will be a conscious attempt to
keep track and add further websites as they are submitted to xcma. The
goal of the "related sites" web page is to collect web based resources
submitted to the XCMA community in a more permanant and organized format.

Paper Archive: http://communication.ucsd.edu/MCA/Paper/paperindex.html
This web site is a collection of papers by XCMA members for discussion. A
new section was recently added with the intent of highlighting an XCMA
member's paper/s for a collective reading and discussion. The goal is to
have a new paper/member highlighted on a monthly basis. The hope, as has
ocurred in past "collective readings" of books, is that this will be
beneficial for both the author and the xcma community.

Any concerns or suggestions can be sent to me offline.
