However, legality notwithstanding, I have incorporated into this email my
very rough translation of some of passages from the new ilyenkov book which
are not in the 1982 book and hope they may be of interest to some of you.
ilyenkov is dealing with the difference between words and concepts and
illustrates the distinction with a discussion of soviet psychological
research (details not given) on children's acquisition of mathematical and
logical thinking. personally i think it is an absolutely fascinating
discussion and links in to many popular XCMA themes.
