Hi Ricardo,
Re: the Spanish-English discussion list

I don't believe anything has been published yet. I have a working draft
of a paper that uses Engestrom's model of activity theory to compare
the development of the 5tadim list community to the development of
a Finnish-US list community, the participants of which were in concurrent
seminars on activity theory. However, in that paper, my topic is not the
lists per se, but an exploration of what can be gained by privileging
community and communication when applying Engestrom's approach. The paper
came out of my struggles to account for diversity in the community
involved in an activity. Consequently, the Spanish-English list data is
not primary (and most is still raw).

But, Rosa Montes, Benemerita Universidad Autonomo de Puebla, who was one
of the organizers of the 5tadim list, and who is also on xmca, does have
something written up. She will be unable to respond for a week or so, but
hopes to then. (o sea en ingles o espanol, o los dos)

Meanwhile, the address for the list is: 5tadim who-is-at siu.buap.mx
Messages sent there will get to Rosa and also Graciela Quintero,
in Cuernavaca; and Yolanda Carrera, in Queretaro, who were the other
organizers. Incidentally, Graciela was Emilia Ferreiro's student and
introduced her work to many of the participants on the list.
