Hi all,

That's precisely what I tried to refer to a few minutes ago. Contextualism is
a world view very cose to what some people (e.g., Altman & Rogoff) call
Transactionalism. The unit of analysis is made of holistic entities composed
of "aspects", not separate parts of elements; aspects are mutually defining;
temporal qualities are intrinsic features of wholes. Contextualism is the
world view espoused by most qualitative researchers. Thanks for the nice
references.

Doris.
