I sent a message to you some weeks ago that appears never to have reached
you - as you didn't reply. It was prior to my sending a reference for Jay.
I thought I'd update you on Santa Cruz. I had an interesting and
enjoyable visit - and then complete silence. I understand that the
position has been offered to one of the other applicants and negotiations
are still under way. How are things going about the CREATE job in San
Diego?
It looks as if I shall still be very interested in the Language and
Thought positio, if it ever reaches the stage of being advertised.
Are you going to be at AERA?
