Dear Bill and others,
I have found Patricia Miller's text, Theories of Developmental Psychology,
to contain a useful introduction to Vygotsky's work and to that of other
sociocultural researchers. I like that chapter better than her chapters
on Piaget or information processing theory. I have used it or recommended
it to my students and have gotten positive feedback about it.
