Bill,

Have you looked at Rousing Minds to Life by Thorp and Galimore.
They have several chapters with the KEEP program that offer
different contexts for applying the ZED. They approach the ZPD
systamatically in the sense that the ZPD is the backbone of the
book and the KEEP program. While I am somewhat leary of
systematic approaches it offered many concrete contexts in which
the ZPD was applied.
