A draft paper for anyone interested in Marx, money-as-symbol,
subject-object positions in capitalism, forms-of-thought-as-product and
commodity, Baudrillard's 'political economy of the sign', postmodernism
(emphasis on the "ism") versus Marx's critique, Adorno, abstract
commodities, abstract labour, 'hyperreality', commodified time,
meaningless-making with mass-propagated forms of technocratic discourse,
etc etc ....

Footnotes are missing which is a bummer. I haven't figured out out to get
my HTML thingamijig to do it yet.

Anyone who wants a complete copy can email me for an rtf or word doc.

All criticisms, harangues, and reactions most welcome and appreciated.

Cheers,
