Eco in his "Foucault's pendulum" brings together in a book long pun the
two Foucault's. He explores the close connection between science and
mysticism and the interconnectedness of virtually everything from the
knights templars to the protocols of zion, from cabbala to
afro-Brasilian mythology, from computer science to numerology. And
throughout is his own fascination with semiotics. He unites all
conspiracies of all time into a single grand conspiracy.
