Artin,
friends,

A physician friend of my wife, who had long struggled with cancer, wrote.
Her book is called "In Darkness and in Light", had a small circulation, and
is now out of print. It includes the following, which I'd like to share,
in response, a convergence of recent threads.

Artin, I wish you a smooth recovery, surely availed of the family here, and
look forward to your participation again.

________

A Journey to Self,
Lesley Heafitz

In a sacred moment
I know my truest self,
But then the vision clouds.
I become engulfed
In delusions from the past
Embodied in the persons
Of the men I love the best.

Lost and dizzied,
I struggle back towards center.
Until, guided on the strains of Spirit song,
I return to core star self,
And in its astounding truth
I behold, once more,
The phenomenon of me.
