Hi Everyone
Just a comment on AERA. The highlight of the meeting for me this year was
the memorial tribute to Paulo Freire from his colleagues and family. It was
powerful, academic, and passionate- the words "love" and "heart" mixed
freeely with the more traditional terms of academic discourse and it was a
breath of fresh air in a world where cognition and emotion tend not to
meet.
