i will retract it asap and replace it with a more benign story.
fortunately for the lab, myself, the stories have not gone home and rest
in folders in the learning center. i dont feel that they have profoundly
affected anyone, but to continue with it would obviously be poor judgment.

my sincere apologies to any folks who i might have offended to this point.

there are so many points which this issue raises which i would love to
discuss at another time with any who are interested to keep the discussion
going. that is to say, keep it going on a level which entertains the idea
that cyber entities are tempted by many of the same emotions as humans.
perhaps such a concept should never be the end result of creating a cyber
entity. nonetheless, my intentions were by no means to create a
biblical metaphor, though i seem to have done a heck of a job at doing
just that. the story will be edited or cut and resubmitted immediately.
