Stephen Van Hoose,
Your description with regard to how you architecture students
interact to construct collaborative projects is interesting. I find
three essential ingredients in what you have written (surely there
are more but these seemed important to me). 1) shared common goal, 2)
critical stance amongst colleagues and 3) quote "plus we all end
up learning from one another".
I am also interested in this topic of productive collaborations and
have been lucky over the past 10 years to be able to participate with
a group of professors here at my university in developing an
integrated research program.

Vera John - Steiner,
I am trying to set up some notes which may
be useful to you in the endeavor of writing a book on this
topic. I am very interested in such a book, would also like to
share with you the reference of a book titled "Psicologia
discursos y poder". It is a "joint venture" project between professors
and researchers from Spain, England, South Africa, Puerto Rico and
Mexico published in 1996, Madrid, Aprendizaje Visor. I recently
wrote up a review of the book which was published in a magazine
edited by my university. If you think it would be helpful, I would be
happy to send it to you.
