ASSISTANT OR ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN WOMEN'S STUDIES

The Ohio State University

The position calls for a specialization in feminist theories of visual
culture, including the production of visual art by women (i.e. painting,
sculpture, photography, architecture), the intersections between gender
and visual representation (i.e. imaging technologies, performance), and
the impact of feminism on women's art. Specializations may include any
form of visual representation other than film, and any historical period.
Ph.D. required. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Women's Studies or a
relevant field, graduate certification in Women's Studies and/or
equivalent teaching experience in interdisciplinary Women's Studies core
courses. Teaching responsibilities will include core Women's Studies
courses at the graduate and undergraduate level, as well as courses in
the candidate's area of expertise. Send letter of application, c.v., and
