Assistant Professor, Tenure Track

The Department of Human Development is seeking a psychologist with an
active research program in cognition and/or language development in
educational contexts.

Responsibilities: Teach graduate courses, advise students, supervise
masters work and doctoral dissertations, participate in program
development, maintain an active research program, and contribute to a
proposed new concentration in Cognitive Studies in Education.

Qualifications: Earned doctorate in developmental psychology or related
area. Demonstrated potential for excellent teaching and original research
in the field with a focus on minority populations in urban settings.
