Yes Tomasz: I cannot imagine what it is like growing up to adulthood in
this wasteland of burned-out beliefs. This ashy desert must cover most of
Eastern Europe these years, I imagine. With variation according to local
history and economic conditions.
I can also imagine there are some strange plants popping out of the
scorched ground, now that it is cooling...
You write about the former situation in the Universities. Does higher
education hold any attraction for young people of Poland today? Or is it
just "the market" that attracts?
