Also, I have a great diagram that I got from a class lecture many years
ago, that was borrowed from Rom Harre's 1986 _The social construction of
emotions_. It depicts a circle that is divided into quadrants marked
Public/Observable; Public/unobservable; Private/unobservable;
Private/Observable. Jim Gavelek would recognize the diagram (Jim, are
you there?) If anyone can tell me the page number on which this appears
(if, indeed, it does appear at all), I would be eternally grateful.
