Bill,
The idea for developing a mini-course in CHAT is fascinating. I have two
suggestions about the outline of the course:
One is about the "sources" or interactions between the ideas and theories.
In my opinion, the work of Kurt Lewin on the Field Theory is also very
significant for CHAT and should be at least mentioned. Not only did
Lewin's work have a significance for Vygotsky at the time he was
formulating his ideas, the latter work of the "post Lewinians" in the group
dynamisc research should be somehow reconnected to the cultural-historical
activity theory.

The second suggestion is in the domain of both orientations and (day two)
practical problem of application. I see the issues of play (and
consequently art) as very important in Vygotsky's theory and I cannot
imagine a course which would not have play/art as a domain of inquiry.

I would be willing to participate in the developing of this course.
Especially the areas I suggested above, but also in the methodological part.

Ana
