Hello all,

Thank you for your timely respond to my message. Eugene, your suggestion
sounds really interesting. I'd really appreciate it if you could share the
info about those programs with me so I could look into it. As for Jay's
comment about lending a hand, I think it's a great idea. As Mike has
mentioned before, we here at LCHC have no full-time person in charge of
the web. I've sort of been working on it as my time allows. Hence any
help would really be appreciated.

One place where we can start is the personal profile page. What I started
was extracting each personal profile message, adding HTML code and linking
it to the page. However, the task seemed to be somewhat overwhelming
considering the number of people in our group. Also, my attempt in
creating a template file and let other people put new info into it as they
come in has proven to be somewhat of a failure--the first few file turned
out to be ok, however, after the 5oth or 60th things seemed to get sort of
confused. Yet, we do have all our member's personal profiles availble on
the web now in an awkward format of mail files. The problem with this
format is that each person's profile is indexed by whatever name appear
after the e-mail address, which the computer take to be the person's
names..but you all know that that's not always the case.

What I propose to do will need a collective attempt. I'd like to send you
a template file that consist of html code and areas where you'd add your
information. Then all you need to do is add your personal profile and send
it to me via e-mail. Every time you want to change info in your profile,
just use the template to make a new one and mail it to me. How does this
sound to you?

Now about the mail archive, I think we have to decide whether we want it
to be publically accessible, or do we want it to only be for members of
our discussion. If we want to keep it from the public, while keep the
archive available for our reference, I will add a password to that part of
the webpage. Actually, I don't know exactly how to do it but I've seen it
done and am researching--if any of you can help me with this, it will be
great.

As for the papers for discussion, please mail your paper to me or Peggy
(pbengal) in BinHex or in text, if it's easier for you. I'll then post
them on the webpage.

Please let me know if any of this sounds right to you, or not right, for
that matter :-)

Pim
