Just a note to say I have been reading with interest lately,
but busy preparing for an extended period in Australia (working
with a project on new info technologies and literacies) and so
not writing a great deal.

I will try to peek in on the discussion during some of my time
away, but can't be sure you'll hear from me again till the end
of August. I will miss all you great partners in dialogue!
but please no personal messages of Bon Voyage; I want to keep
my mailbox as clear as possible since remote access to our
mainframe mail system, which I still use, is tricky at best.
