Hi everyone, It is time anew for the AIDS Walkathon in San Francisco, also
known as "Bagdad-by-the-bay" after none other than Herb Cain, the
Putlitzer-prize winning San Francisco columnist so named this wonderful
city. This year I am far more organized that the previous as I have
a registration package. The Walkathon will take place on July 21rst, 1996.
It is a 10 kilometer walk for which I am solliciting your pledges (in
the form of lots of $). You can pledge per kilometer or a total amount.
Please make checks out to: AIDS Walk San Francisco (AWSF). These are
tax-deductible contributions. Please mail them to me at: 98 Carmel Street
San Francisco, CA 94117, so that I can turn them in at 9:30am. The event
is organized by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. AIDS is that deadly
desease that has infected more than 8000 people in San Francisco and
millions world-wide both children and adults.

PS. Many walkers go in teams, so anyone around the Bay Area who would
like to walk as a team, welcome.
