This is a little different from the current curriculum
discussion; however, I teach an undergraduate elementary
curriculum class and like to have the students read beyond our
normal curriculum theory text. Can anyone give me some views
about use of the following to extend the learning in this
class at an undergrad level?

They are required to choose one of these:

Bruner, Jerome S. The Process of Education. Cambridge:
Harvard University Press, 1960.

Adler, M. 1982. The paideia proposal: An educational
manifesto. New York: Macmillan.

Duckworth, E. 1987. The having of wonderful ideas and other
essays on teaching and learning. New York: Teachers College
Press.

Goodlad, John. 1984. A place called school: prospects for
the future. New York: McGraw-Hill.
