Hi Mark, I spent five hours reading 156 and then 84 messages! So sorry
for my delayed response too. I think that perhaps in the introduction
of this book you will find soemthing about cultural compression. I remember
them saying that this was a theory that they could likely never really
proove, but then some people would argue "Who would want to!"
