I responded that I was pretty sure that the debate framework wouldn't
work well in my case because I saw a lot of overlap between the way
I think about culture in development and the way that some evolutional
(evolutionary) psychologists look on things, but that a discussion of
the issues seemed like a ripe opportunity. And they the topic blossoms
here on xmca!
Anyway, an additional reference is an article on this topic by David
Geary that appeared in (I believe) the November 1995 AMerican Psychologist.
