Maybe (blending two recent themes from the list) we could consider taped
lectures with a focus on affordances. Taped lectures transform the
experience from a synchronous to an asynchronous one. Further, the viewer
(by virtue of rewind and fast forward) acquires some control over the order
and content of the presentation. What gets lost is the opportunity to
interact with the lecturer (and audience). ---Tim
