Children's movement from protolanguage into the mother tongue, viewed from a
systemic functional language perspective, involves processes which resemble
prolepsis. One mother/researcher who has studied this is Clare Painter, -Into
the mother tongue- (Pinter).

I'm not sure (because of limited reading so far) how people who use the
concept prolepsis theorise the variable "anticipations" of caregivers in
different intracultural social locations. Can anybody help with a specific
reference please?
