the Age of the Internet_ (ISBN 0-684-80353-4).
Another interesting new Internet-related book is _BRAVE NEW SCHOOLS:
CHALLENGING
CULTURAL ILLITERACY THROUGH GLOBAL LEARNING NETWORKS_ by Jim Cummins and
Dennis Sayers. St. Martin's Press (ISBN 0-312-12669). The first half is a
critique of U.S. education, with discussion of the use of computer networks
in promoting more critical inquiry and reflective collaboration in the
schools. The second half consists of a resource guide for parents and
teachers.
