Dear Colleagues-

Attached is an obituary describing Pentti's research, including his 20 year
contribution as editor of the *Journal of Russian*
*and East European Psychology.  *There are links to some key papers
included including the Silmu studies which Beth
referred to in her earlier note.

Milda Bredikyte, Pentti's wife, has taken on the task of continuing to edit
the journal which Pentti took over from me 20
years ago. Together, we spanned 50 years of the journal. A lot.

A critical concern for Milda and myself is whether and how to continue the
journal.  For the short run, it would be helpful
if those of you who use the journal would suggest what sorts of materials
that are not already being translated by our
Russian colleague you would like to have translated-- both classic authors
from the past, and contemporary work.
