yes, the work of Vivian Maier is remarkable - and if you've got the chance to see the documentary ( I saw it a little over a month ago ) it's well worth seeing.  it raises fascinating questions, i thought, regarding labor, identity, surveillance, perception, and community ... to list but a few of the concerns of this list serve.
