Pete was and remains a great hero of mine.  Particularly as I was trying to define my own path as an adolescent and young man, his concerts and recordings gave me strength and hope to struggle on.  He served that role for many, forging them into social movements of consequence and strengthening many other social movements. All with joy. Sing on, Pete.
