Affiliation: Associate Professor, Escuela de Psicologia of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile
I am an Associate Professor at the Escuela de Psicologia of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile. I received my Ph.D. in Psychology from Yale University, where I attended as a Fulbright Scholar and worked with Robert J. Sternberg and Elena Grigorenko. I did my undergraduate training at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where I studied Psychology and Sociology. I am specially interested in the educational implications of cultural psychology. My evolving research interests include topics such as folk pedagogy and instructional patterns, creativity and writing processes, and the cognitive consequences of technology. In addition to my academic work, I have written and published four books of poetry.
